The Emirati construction group « Emaar » called on president Bouteflika for urgent intervention in order to lift the siege imposed on its projects in Algeria and stop the campaigns of distortion and lies spearheaded by some regions of the country which oppose any Arab investment in Algeria.

• A senior source from the company told Echorouk that some people are known for their opposition to the Arab investments in Algeria, particularly projects launched in Algeria thanks to the good relations of the owners with the president Bouteflika. Those people moved to a higher degree of destruction and false denunciations trying to create false stories about the owners of these projects in order to show a distorted picture to  president Bouteflika about these investments.
• As a last resort, the Industry and promotion investment Ministry of Abdelhamid Temar refused to talk with officials of the company “Emaar”  (reconstruction) and refused to answer the company’s letters, but the company still insists on implementing its $10 billion project in Algeria.
